I've finally joined this social networking site for book nerds, with a reader profile and a book listing. Come add me as a friend, check out my collection, and/or follow my reviews. It works with Facebook, Twitter, and other social platforms. And if you've read Major Inversions, please give it a star rating, a short review, or simply add it to your "to-read shelf" until later. |

The new online lit zine Lobster Cult has included me among its emerging author profiles. It basically just links you back here, but I'm honored to share space with so many talented writers, whose work you can also check out on the site. |

For those without Kindles who like to read electronically, my novel Major Inversions is now also available as an Adobe Digital Edition PDF for the same price ($8.99), which you can read on your computer, your Sony Reader or compatible device, or on Scribd.com. This file is rights-managed (for up to six authorized devices) and may require a free software download for local viewing. |

Read my short story "Untitled Stephenie Meyer Novel" online throughout 2010, part of the Oprah Read This > Oprah, Read This anthology: a collection of fictional tales that leverage the name recognition of in/famous authors. Mine is a reaction to Twilight mania, exposing the dangers in taking evil, lustful, violent creatures and writing them as chaste tween heartthrobs. |

Caleb J. Ross, author of Charactered Pieces, sits down with me and answers a few questions about his fantastic short story collection. You'll recall the roles having been reversed a little while back, and this may turn into a regular series of impromptu author interviews called [Blank] und Questions Asks, with [Beer] filling in the blank on this particular occasion at The Newsroom in Kansas City, MO. |

An in-depth review of Major Inversions by Oxyfication.net, a great site that profiles, reviews, and discusses emerging artists. [Thanks to Jason Kane] |

Charlotte's Creative Loafing reviews my novel Major Inversions in their online edition. [Thanks to Chris Deal] |

More reviews for Major Inversions, this time courtesy of The Velvet and weRead. |

I'm honored to be the first in a series of author interviews called [Blank] und Questions Asks... wherein author Caleb J. Ross sits down with me at a local bar to discuss my novel, Major Inversions, fueled by the social lubricant/truth serum of its namesake. |

Reviews for Major Inversions are beginning to surface online, such as this one from Outside Writers Collective, where you'll also find an excerpt. I'll update this site/page as I become aware of others, and feel free to contact me with ones I may have missed. I of course encourage you to post your own at Amazon and other outlets. |

In a four-part series by Chris Deal on writers and the music that inspires them, titled "iTunes and the Pen", I share what works for me, right alongside some of my favorite authors. Be sure to hit up parts 1, 2, and 4 as well for some great material to will your quill. |

My first novel, Major Inversions, is now available for online ordering through Amazon and CreateSpace in paperback, as well as a Kindle edition. FYI, though the cover price is the same, CreateSpace pays me a much higher royalty, so help support your independent author! You can also visit my page here for samples, podcast, and contact info. |

Updated the Links page with a bunch of sites I visit on a regular basis: writing, design, music, friends, and several amusing time-killers. |

Sure, it's nearly four years old now, but due to the modest success of my short film, Featurette, I've finally been invited into the online pantheon of . . . official existence, with an IMDb entry. Better yet, you can now watch the entire thing right there as well, and at higher quality than available here. Congrats to the cast and crew on their own entries, too. So kick back and have a few cinematic laughs for nostalgia's sake. |

Enjoy a two-chapter sample from my new in-progress novel, Flashover. |

Fellow scribe Craig Wallwork was kind enough to add me to his collection of interviews with emerging writers. We discussed my work, rockstar fantasies, the publishing biz, and brain tumors. Be sure to check out his own excellent short stories while you're there. |

My industry blog Medialysis was long overdue for a facelift, so dig its brand new look with the same great taste. I also recently decided to pull back the curtain on its anonymity (no surprise for those who found it from this site). It's about all things creative, with original articles, Q&A, and comedic diversions. |
